Somerville Spring Clean Up!/Comcast Cares Day

Join us on April 22nd, Earth Day!, as we celebrate spring and get together with neighbors to take care of our community spaces. Our annual Mayor’s Spring Clean Up/Comcast Cares day is a city-wide cleanup and gardening day from 9 am to 2 pm at 12 different sites across Somerville.  Comcast will again generously provide sponsorship for this day.  We are looking for as many volunteers and groups as possible to get out, get dirty, and clean up our parks, streets and gardens!

Cleaning begins at 10am at any of this year’s sites:

East Branch Library
Zero New Washington (New Washington St. & Inner Belt Rd.)
ArtFarm (10 Poplar St)
South St Farm (138 South St)
Somerville High School (City Hall Steps)
Nunziato Field (Corner of Vinal & Summer St.)
Blessing of the Bay Boat House (32 Shore Drive)
Parking Lot on Central Street (114 Central St.)
Davis Square Statute Park
Dilboy Stadium (110 Alewife Brook Parkwy)

Please join us for a kickoff and Free Breakfast at 9am at the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse, 32 Shore Drive. and come on back to the Boathouse 12-2pm for the SomerGreen Festival and BBQ!
