Tree Planting
Groundwork Somerville planted 18 trees in the city across the environmental justice communities of East Somerville, Winter Hill and Clarendon Hill in 2009, and plans to plant 25-30 additional trees in 2010 both in Somerville and in Everett. This program will continue into the future, as GWS sustains a relationship with a local tree firm.
