Kathleen O’Brien

  • From Everett, MA
  • Bachelor’s Degree from UMass Boston 2008:  Double Major in Anthropology and Social Psychology with Minor in Environmental Studies
  • Graduate Certificate from UMass Boston Program for Women in Politics and Public Policy 2009:  Research focus on Sustainable Community Development
  • Intern at Alternatives for Community and Environment in Roxbury from 2007-2009
  • Currently employed by City of Everett:  Program Coordinator for Energize Everett, funded by Mass in Motion grant
  • Areas of interest include sustainable community development, community food security and youth leadership development

Mark Pedersen

Mark’s family owns Mike’s Automotive Services, a local automotive repair facility which is committed to sustainability. Mark is active in politics and hopes to integrate common sense sustainability into mainstream conservatism.”
