Walk to the River – Blueback Herring Route

The long-awaited Blueback Herring Route opens officially on November 16th! Join Groundwork, Mystic River Watershed Association and the City of Somerville, along with students from the Healey School as we make the first official trek from Foss Park to the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse. Once there, we’ll have a ribbon cutting ceremony and put the boathouse gardens to bed for the winter. Come enjoy the beautiful views and meet your neighbors at this event.

Meet at 12:30pm at the Foss Park entrance at Fellsway W and Jacques St. Register for the event now, so we know you’re coming!
