Maple Syrup Workshop @ the Library

Check out this cool new way for Somerville youth to engage in the Somerville Maple Syrup Project:
Join us at the Main Branch Library during the four Saturdays in February to learn all about making maple syrup from urban trees in Somerville! Meet in the Children’s Room at 11am. Recommended for ages 6-9. Limited to 15 kids on a first come, first served basis.
February 19th: So how do we make maple syrup? How did people a long time ago figure this out? How have tools changed over the years? Can we practice using the tools? Join us to discover the answers to these questions and many more!
