Green Line Station Area Walks!

THE GREEN LINE IS COMING
TO SOMERVILLE!
It is time to begin station planning and design. The Community Corridor Planning Project (CCP) with participation of members of the Green Line Extension Community Design Working Group invites you to participate in planning for design and access to the Ball Square and College Avenue Green Line Stations.
Your opinions and ideas about how to make the station work best are important.
WHEN: Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10 AM
WHERE: We will meet on the westbound side of the bridge on Broadway at the corner of Boston Ave. at 10 AM and will walk around each Station area where you can make suggestions about pedestrian, bicycle and bus access to the station, safety, lighting, station design, comfort, signs and area maps.
At 11:15 AM we will meet on the bridge at College Avenue for the station walk.
Bring your camera to take photos and email them with your suggestions to Ellin Reisner — reisnere51@gmail.com.
CCP partners and MBTA/Mass DOT staff will have preliminary station diagrams for the station location as well as copies of designs developed by community members at the CCP Design Workshop in May.
