Earth Day Farm Raising at the South Street Farm

Join the Groundwork Somerville Green Team on Saturday, April 21, from 10am-2pm for a “farm raising” at Somerville’s first farm at 111 South Street.  We will be building and laying out the beds, filling them, mixing soil, and planting the first crops of the spring with Green City Growers. Celebrate Earth Day by adding your hands to the creation and cleanup of new open space in Massachusetts’ densest city!

Come for as much or as little of the day as you like, bring your friends and family. We’ll have some healthy snacks and lots to do!
