Community Energy Fair to Showcase City of Somerville’s New Sustainability Program

WHERE: Somerville High School, between City Hall and the school library
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 28, 1-3 p.m.
The City of Somerville will launch its ACT! Earth sustainability program during a community sustainability fair at Somerville High School. Mayor Curatone, High School Headmaster Tony Ciccariello and other community leaders will highlight the city’s energy-efficiency work with Honeywell, and discuss how ACT! Earth will help Somerville further reduce its energy use and environmental impact. Attendees can learn about the city’s commitment to sustainability and get information on a number of related topics from participating community organizations. The event is open and free to the public, and will include refreshments and a raffle for prizes.
