Hi Terry, I will look for a good photo of this from our files and post it. It’s a good question, especially since the Mystic also has a lot of water lilies mixed in with the chestnuts, but the lilies are a native plant. Check back periodically for the photo.

Please can you post a close-up photo of water chestnuts on the water? I often walk along the Mystic River, and wonder which plant it is. I hope to come help pull it out next year.
